After an amazing but ultimately disappointing day yesterday, I just wanted to thank again both @jsccofficial and @orexcompetitionnw for the opportunity to showcase my skills.
I think I gave a good account of myself and am proud of the effort I put in both on the day and in the build up. Thank you to all the race teams, coaches, team leaders, drivers and their families for giving up their time to make the day so special. Thank you also to @perfectacceleration and @pembreycircuit marshals. Dad said to me at the start of the day to forget about the prize and just to have fun and think of it as a driver development day. I think all of us that participated learnt loads, met some amazing people and formed some new friendships. If you ever get the chance to participate in this scholarship in the future, then I'd really recommend you grab it with both hands, irrespective of whether you win or not. Huge congratulations again to @martinwrightracer for the win. I'd also like to thank the people that helped me prepare for the scholarship.. @karts2cars & @mphkartingacademy for the driver training. @the_motorsports_school for the driver training and ARDS test. @swift.performance for team building prep. JSCC drivers past and present for their advice and support - @harvey.cursley.racing @bensmiles_racing @bertie_bream_racing @tomalgarracing For me now, we regroup, rethink and go again... Watch this space! #racing #motorsports #racecar
