Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2026. Here's to a year of good racing!
#happynewyear #happynewyear2026 #racehard #racefair Team Luna Rose Sim Racing and my first officially recognised sim endurance race event. We were up against a field of many internationally renowned sim racing teams, drivers and successful circuit racers.
We had no expectations other than wanting to complete the race, enjoy it and learn. Not coming last would be good too! We lined up in the GT3 category as one of 30 teams, with another 22 teams on track running GT4s. The professional teams had race engineers/strategists & dedicated spotters. We were managing it all ourselves! P27 in Quali (my fault, pushed a bit too hard when on for P20'ish pace) but plenty of time to make inroads. 6hrs: ↑ P25 11hrs: ↓ P27 - We'd all had a few moments! 16hrs: ↑ P21 - A combination of retirements and our consistently decent pace. 19hrs: ↓ P25 - After a very very long stop in the pits. We were the last of the GT3 cars still running and 17-18 laps behind to P24, equivilant to 35 mins at race pace. 21hrs: P25 but had taken a couple of laps out of P24. Now 15 laps behind. At this point we wanted rain but it didn't come! - 24hrs: P25 out of a grid of 30 but the last of the running GT3s. We took a couple of more laps out of P24, finishing 13 laps behind them and 48 laps behind the winners. We completed it! - 24hrs of racing with minimal penalties & only minor damage though the race. Despite some frustrations, it was mega fun, a huge learning curve and everyone put in solid stints. The Mustang livery looked so cool too! A huge thanks to Kenny & Tom from Luna Rose Racing for the opportunity. #britcar #simracing #endurance #24hours #silverstone A few photos from the 2025 Junior Saloon Car Championship awards evening held last weekend.
A great evening with family and friends celebrating a mega year of racing. 💪 I won the 'Compassion' award, which, the words below from compere Jack Oliphant as he introduced the award, say so much about the strength of character needed to race whilst staying true to yourself, even at this grass routes level. So, overall, this is a pretty cool award! . . . 'The words compassion and Racing don’t normally overlap. But this is another example of the JSCC’s ambition to raise exemplary people, as well as rapid drivers. Compassion is never a sign of weakness, in fact it is the opposite. Drivers, teams, parents, everyone can become blinkered in their own world and what's is happening to them The ability to see beyond that can endear you to not only your team mates, but the paddock as a whole, creating the atmosphere that the JSCC is famous for. We hope more people follow the example of this driver, he has been a fantastic addition to the grid, make some noise for Matthew Swatton!' . 📷 @x_lizmariejay_x . . @cursleymotorsport @jsccofficial @officialbarc @ourmotorsportuk @talkhse @tracktilesuk #jscc #juniordriver #awardsnight #racing #racingdriver So this is pretty cool on many levels...
- My first ever official e-sports event! Never mind easing ourselves in gently with a twenty minute sprint race.... let's go full send and take on a 24 hour sim endurance race! - The Britcar 24hr of Silverstone! 🫣 - This is first time I've been specifically invited to participate in an event rather than just being being another name on a mailing list. This really means a lot 🫶 - For Kenny & Tom, this is not just about sim racing - There's a much bigger picture... Project Luna is about building a GT class race car to compete in the 2026 Britcar Endurance championship. The car... A Porsche? Ferrari? .. Nah... a '67 Mustang! You can follow the build progress on Instagram by following @lunaroseracing Super excited for this! Massive thank you to Kenny & Tom for the invite. 💪 #britcar #simracing #enduranceracing #racingdriver #silverstone Friday testing : Mixed track conditions throughout the day : damp, very wet and mostly dry. Good experience though and no dramas. Car felt good.
Saturday : Qualifying (Damp) - P8, P6 & P6. Not the easiest quali given the conditions. Lap times were pretty consistent. Race 1 (Dry) : P8>P5 (P3 rookies). A great start and made up two places on the opening lap but the race was red flagged. An decent restart and got myself up to P6 on the road but finished P5 after penalties applied. Race 2: (Dry) : P6>P6 (P3 rookies). Mega start and made a place but ultimately finished where I started, as I was picking my battles for the rookie championship. Sunday Race 3: (Damp) : P6>P6 (P3 rookies). Another mega start and got two places. Didn't battle with Josh on lap one. There was a patch of water around the apex at Paddock Hill bend, which made things interesting but we brought the car safely home. A solid weekend to secure the rookie P3 and, although there's no official championship for this, I also finished P1 in the 2025 newcomers. The car was faultless and my driving improved as the weekend progressed. An awesome first year racing cars! Congrats to ojk_22 for the championship win and @olliesmithracing for the rookie win and a big well done to my teammate @benward_racing_uk for a mega three rounds. A huge appreciation post for the season will follow but for now... thank you to... Everyone at @cursleymotorsport. The car was faultless and the support as always was amazing! @_ashmiller for the coaching and kick up the bum! Everyone at @jsccofficial @officialbarc @brandshatchofficial and all the orange armt @marshalsuk All the 2025 JSCC drivers. I've loved every minute both on and off the track! None of this would have been be possible without the support of my family and my partners @talkhse , Camuri, @sddesigns.5, @tracktilesuk and everyone who supports me on @wearesponsordriven Photos : @j45media @swatton.media #motorracing #motorsport #racing #racecar #racingdriver #juniordrivers This weekend, we return to Brands Hatch for the final round of the Junior Saloon Car Championship 2025.

Friday testing : 20 minutes in to the first session and then the gearbox went! Our replacement box was fitted but sadly, no good. Second replacement box fitted but no good either. Third replacement box fitted and all seemed good but I'd lost all my remain testing time and had zero time in the car with my coach. Saturday : Qualifying (Dry) - P12 & P12. (P9 & P9 rookies) . Felt like something was up with the clutch but at least I'd got my laps in. Issue identified and resolved but I'd now need to go steady. Race 1 (Dry) : P12>P11 (P8 rookes). DNF on the road. Stuff steady!.. Got a mega start and made up places. A few more laps in and that was my race over. Gearbox mount gave up and I limped into the pits. My box fluid on the track and a car going off caused the race to end under a red flag with positions awarded basis the lap prior to the red. Race 2: (Dry) : P12>P7 (P5 rookies). Fourth replacement box fitted and felt lovely! Another mega start and got three places in first lap... I was then in a train behind Louis, Martin & Tom for the rest of the race and was pushing for an opportunity to make a move. It came on the final lap and I grabbed two more places. Not the weekend we'd hoped for but we still made points and kept ourselves in with a shout of progressing in the championship in the final round. It was also cool to catch up with the team at @tracktilesuk and also meet some guys from @baguette_bashers Thank you to my team @cursleymotorsport, particularly Alex & Jake for keeping me out there in difficult and frustrating circumstances. Thank you @_ashmiller for your support and encouragement and to @orexcompetition, @louis_austin & Chef Dave for your help in sourcing replacement boxes. Thank you also to @jsccofficial @officialbarc @oultonpark @marshalsuk None of this would be possible without the support of my family and my partners @TalkHSE, Camuri, @azj_x , @sddesigns.5, @tracktilesuk and everyone who supports me on @wearesponsordriven. Photos : @h.hallworth_photography @swattonmedia #motorracing #motorsport #racing #racecar #racingdriver #juniordrivers This weekend, we return to Oulton Park for round nine of the Junior Saloon Car Championship. It's a double header, Saturday only meeting on the full international circuit. Let's see what we can do!
Our provisional weekend timings :- Saturday 11th October ------------------------- Qualifying - 0945 (Not streamed) Race 1- 1200 Race 2 - 1615 The races are streamed live on the BARC Youtube channel. Saturday - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md9xtARVcIU We'll post the live stream links again on my Instagram & Facebook stories each race day morning. Thanks again to Seb from @sddesigns.5 for the cool graphic. Thank you to my family and my partners for making this possible. @talkhse @tracktilesuk Camuri @azj_x @sddesigns.5 @cursleymotorsport @_ashmiller @jsccofficial @officialbarc @oultonparkofficial #motorracing #motorsport #racing #racecar #racingdriver #juniordrivers Qualifying (Dry) : P5 & P4. (P2 & P1 rookies) My best qualifying of the season so far. The pace is getting there!
Race 1 (Dry) : P5>P6 (P3 rookies). Race start was good but a red flag caused us to re-grid. The restart was okay but then a couple of mistakes on the opening lap caused me to drop three places. I got my head down, battled hard and managed to pull back a couple of places to finish P6. Race 2: (Wet) : P4>P6 (P3 rookies). A slow wet start and then drifting wide in the opening corners of the first lap again cost me a couple of places. On the next lap, side contact pushed me wide and cost me momentum and another place. I pulled one of them back but I was maybe a bit too cautious in the wet conditions and should have gone for moves that were definitely on for P5. Overall, still a decent weekend. It was good to get some more wet racing experience, particularly in the new car and my quali pace was mega. More racecraft work needed but we'll keep pushing! Massive thanks to the team, Cursley Motorsport : Alex, Sheila, Harvey, Will & Lee for everything through the weekend. Big shout out also to Ash Miller & Jonathan Moore for their support and guidance both on and off the track! Thank you also to JSCC, BARC, MSUK and the Snetterton Marshals and circuit team. It was great to meet Guy from Track Tiles, who is our latest 2025 partner. Congrats to everyone that made the podium and got the other driver awards. Mega props to my new teammate, Ben Ward, in his first race meeting. None of this would be possible without the support of my family and my partners, TalkHSE, Camuri, Ashley James, SD Designs & Track Tiles Next up, Oulton Park again in just under a month.
